 ITEM DESCRIPTION

Original 1st printing 13 x 22&1/8" concert poster for the Pack appearing with Gold and Our Mother's Children on 10/20/1967 and the MC5 appearing with Gang and Billy C. and the Sunshine on 10/21/1967, both shows held at the Grande Ballroom in Detroit, MI.

Art by (and SIGNED in black sharpie by) Gary Grimshaw AND lead guitarist of the Pack (and later Grand Funk Railroad) Mark Farner, image ("Blue Boy") is # 49 in the Russ Gibb Presents/Grande series and is featured in the Art of Rock on page 300 (plate 3.144).

Medium flat vellum stock poster is in excellent (B+) condition; there is a somewhat hard-to-see thin vertical indentation scratch extending from just above the "20" in the left center margin down to the "t" in "Mothers" (about 7") with a tiny bit of touch-up in the magenta field around the top of the scratch, plus a series of thin diagonal creases in the upper right corner tip, a couple of tiny dings along the top edge, a tiny pin-prick stain on the second "s" of "Sunshine" and just the slightest amount of light handling wear, otherwise fine.

One of the MOST-requested images in the Grande series, this one is not only in pretty nice shape, but it is enhanced by BOTH artist AND performer signatures!
