Original 1st printing 11&3/8 x 21&7/8" concert poster for the Southbound Freeway appearing with the Bossmen on 11/4/1966 and the MC5 appearing with Southbound Freeway (again) on 11/5/1966, both shows held at the Grande Ballroom in Detroit, MI.

 Art by Gary Grimshaw, image ("Mod Man") is image # 5 in the Russ Gibb Presents/Grande series. 

 Medium-thick flat/vellum stock poster is in good (B) condition; this example has a quartet of diagonal clear tape wedges in the top/bottom left corners and lower right corner with a small pull in the top right corner, a 1" vertical tear in the top center margin, a few thin soft horizontal/diagonal bends traversing the top of the image area, a bit of minor toning, light handling wear, a small scuff in the right center margin, a thin soft bend going through "Concert" and a couple of tiny surface indentations in the small white circle at the top of the image area, otherwise fine. 

 One of Grimshaw's earliest Grande Ballroom images, complete with the original "Uncle Russ Travel Agency" logo. VERY cool-looking ORIGINAL 1st printing 1966 Grande poster.
