Original 1st printing 12&1/2 x 22" concert poster for the Paupers appearing with the MC5, Gang, the Rationals and Thyme at the Grande Ballroom in Detroit, MI from 11/3-5/1967.

 Art by Gary Grimshaw, image is # 51 in the Russ Gibb Presents/Grande series and is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 298 (plate 3.137). 

 Medium flat vellum stock poster is in good/decent (B to B/B-) condition; there are a series of 6-7 pressed/flattened horizontal roll bends traversing the entire image area with a 9" diagonal bend in the upper left corner (runs from the upper left margin to the upper right edge, just above "Detroit"), along with a series of semi-soft handling dings, a few tiny edge dings scattered around the outer margins and a few very well-camouflaged surface scratches/dings hiding within the image area, otherwise fine.

 Very presentable 1st-printing example of one of Grimshaw's trippiest psychedelic images.
