Original 1st printing 11 x 17" concert poster for Grateful Dead offshoot band the New Riders of the Purple Sage (with Jerry Garcia and Mickey Hart) appearing at the Matrix in San Francisco, CA on 7/7/1970.

 

 Art by (and SIGNED in pencil by) Mark Twain Behrens, image is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 162 (plate 2.105).

 

 Medium flat index stock poster is in fantastic near mint (A- to A-/B+) condition; just a couple of VERY small handling dings scattered around the image area/margins, otherwise fine.

 

 GREAT-looking ARTIST-SIGNED example of this uncommon Jerry/Riders item from the Art of Rock.
