Official 1966 promoter-issued 2nd printing (union logo 221) 14 x 20" concert poster for the three-day "Batman Dance", held at the Fillmore Auditorium in San Francisco, CA from 3/18-20/1966. Performers listed include: the Mystery Trend, Big Brother & the Holding Company (pre-Janis Joplin) and the Family Tree (3/18), Quicksilver Messenger Service, Family Tree (again) and the Gentlemen's Band (3/19) and QMS (again) with the Great Society (featuring Grace Slick) and the Skins (3/20).

  Medium flat vellum stock poser is in decent (B/B-) condition; there are numerous small creases/bends throughout, areas of discoloration in the upper right corner/quadrant and along the bottom margin, a pair of small wedge-pull holes in the upper left corner, a moderate amount of handling/edge wear, a pretty large set of tape pulls on the reverse (resulting in a bit of thinning to the paper) and other assorted minor issues here and there... you get the idea, this one has seen a rather robust life over the years.

 

 This is definitely a VERY well-loved used example, but not without a certain degree of old hippie charm. It IS, after all- one of the EARLIEST known reprints in the series (1966).
