Original 1st printing 8&1/2 x 11" concert flyer for the Grateful Dead appearing with Moby Grape and the Steve Miller (Blues) Band at the Avalon Ballroom in San Francisco, CA from 12/23-24/1966.

 

 Art by Victor Moscoso, image is # 40 in the Family Dog/Avalon series. This particular version has a very light/almost invisible pass of red ink (essentially just the green pass with a trace of red).

 Thin flat stock flyer is in excellent (B+) condition; there are a few light thin creases scattered around the outer margin area, along with a touch of handling wear and a couple of tiny pin-prick stains in the upper right margin, but overall it is an overall superb-looking example of this unusual early Avalon flyer.
