Original 1st printing 14&1/4 (appx.- right side is slightly uneven) x 21" concert poster for Love (featuring Arthur Lee) appearing with the Staple Singers and Roland Kirk at the Fillmore Auditorium and Winterland in San Francisco, CA from 4/18-20/1968.

Art by Patrick Lofthouse, image is # 116 in the Bill Graham/Fillmore series. This particular version has an additional pass of brick red ink, it could possibly be a one-off printer's test proof. 

 Medium-thick flat index stock poster is in excellent (B+) condition, there is a bit of curling to the paper, a couple of light handling dings/tiny stress bends here and there, along with a few ultra-tiny surface smudges/tiny scratch marks scattered throughout the red pass of ink (plus a tiny amount of ink bleed in a couple of areas, mostly confined to the edges of the butterfly wings), a couple of well-camouflaged splatter marks in the upper right quadrant and a series of light horizontal roll bends, otherwise fine.

 

VERY unique/weird-looking RED VARIANT version of this classic Fillmore poster from early 1968, the only example I have ever seen with this color combination.
