Original 1st printing 13&5/8 x 18&5/8" concert poster for Big Brother & the Holding Company (featuring Janis Joplin) appearing with the Steve Miller (Blues) Band and Robert Baker at Steninger Auditorium on the campus of the University of California (San Francisco) Medical Center on 3/4/1967.

 

 Art by Kreftins, event was a student-sponsored event billed as "Journey to the End of Night- A Benefit for Peace".

 

 Medium flat vellum stock poster is in GORGEOUS near mint (A-/B+) condition; there is a small 1/2" bend in the top right corner tip, a soft pinch crease just above the "B" of "Benefit", a soft bend in between the band portraits in the top center and a couple of ultra tiny corner bumps, but for the most part, this example is fairly clean.
