Original 8 x 10" (appx.- top edge has a series of tiny hand-torn ring holes) 1968 hand-drawn preliminary/proposal sketch (graphite pencil on sketch pad vellum paper) for a "fantasy" show featuring Bob Dylan, Quicksilver Messenger Service and Taj Mahal at the Fillmore and Winterland in San Francisco from 3/21-23/? (no specific date). Art by (and SIGNED in pencil by) Randy Tuten, sketch is in good/decent shape (a letter grade doesn't exactly apply here); there are quite a few soft surface smudges and handling dings/light creases scattered all around the image/border area and a few light smears around "Winterland", but considering that it is an unfinished sketch obtained right from the artist's studio, most of the conditional issues are fairly negligible. REALLY neat little one-of-a-kind ORIGINAL 1968 Randy Tuten sketch from very early in the artist's career.... the base elements of Randy's trademark lettering style are already quite apparent on this piece.
