Original 1st printing 6&1/2 x 9" concert handbill for Mother Earth (featuring Tracy Nelson) appearing with Shiva's Head Band at the Vulcan Gas Company in Austin, TX from 8/15-16/1969. 

 Art by the one and only JFKLN (Jim Franklin), image is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 293 (plate 3.120) and is an un-numbered part of the VG/Vulcan Gas Company series.

 Thin flat stock handbill is in very good to excellent (B/B+ to B+) condition; the piece was removed from a linen backing, so there is a trace of light spray adhesive covering the reverse, along with a small pencil scratch ("8"), plus a small discolored area in the upper left margin and a hint of surface wear (a few slight smudges that can be seen when the piece is tilted slightly), a series of ultra-tiny pin-prick spots along the bottom margin and a hint of curl to the paper, otherwise fine.

 VERY nice-looking example of this classic JFKLN image from the AOR book.
