Original 1st printing 21&3/4 x 14" concert poster for the Youngbloods appearing with Screamin' Jay Hawkins and Lee Michaels at the Avalon Ballroom in San Francisco, CA from 2/7-9/1969.

 

 Art by Rick Griffin, image is featured in the Art of Rock on page 108 (plate 2.22) and is part of the Soundproof Presents (post-Family Dog Avalon) series.

 

 Medium-thick glossy-coated index stock poster is in very good to excellent (B/B+ to B+) condition; a thin 1&3/4" bend in the top left corner, a small nip in the right center margin, a series of very light surface scratches and tiny scuffs scattered around the image area, a couple of tiny edge/corner dings and a soft stain on the reverse, otherwise fine.

 

 With the exception of a few relatively minor conditional issues, it is a REALLY nice-looking example of this classic Rick Griffin poster from the Soundproof Avalon series.
