Original 1st printing 9&7/8 x 7&7/8" concert handbill for the 9th Annual Associated Students of U.C. Berkeley Folk Festival, a 2-day event featuring Jefferson Airplane appearing with the Greenbrair Boys at Pauley Ballroom on 7/3/1966 and again with John Fahey, Pete Seeger, Robert Pete Williams and host Ralph J. Gleason at the Greek Theatre on 7/4/1967, both shows on the campus of U.C. Berkeley. Photographer/designer unknown/not credited, image is featured in the Art of Rock on page 172 (plate 2.132) Thin flat stock handbill is in decent/used (B-) condition; there is a decent-sized 2" vertical tear (taped on the reverse) just to the right of Jack Casady's head and another 1" vertical tear in the bottom center margin (also sealed on the reverse), plus a series of thin horizontal bends, tack holes/wear in each of the four corners, a series of semi-soft handling bends, a large diagonal/horizontal bend going across the lower portion of the photograph and a few tiny surface scuffs here and there, otherwise fine. This one is definitely a bit on the used side, but it is still a VERY hard-to-find early Jefferson Airplane image from the Art of Rock.
