Original 1st printing 13&1/4 x 18&5/8" late 1960's-era (undated) promotional poster for the Blackhawk Discotheque at Hilltop Acres Hotel in Sag Harbor, NY. Designer unknown, extra-thick vellum stock poster is in good to very good (B to B/B+) condition; there is a single tack hole and small stain in the top center margin, a couple of slight moisture stains along the lower part of the image (into the bottom border), a few minor edge dings along the right margin and a light amount of toning, otherwise fine. FASCINATING piece from a VERY obscure late-'60's-era venue out in the Hamptons... the only references I could find were a 1968 "New York Magazine" article that describes a Norman Mailer film shoot in Sag Harbor where several of the participants attended the discotheque during filming and a brief blog post by a local resident who describes the scene after the hotel burned down in the Fall of 1970.... beyond that, there's not a lot of information out there- a REALLY unusual artifact!
