Original 1st printing 13 x 20" concert poster for Barry "the Fish" Melton (from Country Joe & the Fish) appearing the Swami from Miami, the Ball-Taylor Band, Terry McGovern and MC Budd Stuntt at the Boarding House in San Francisco, CA from 6/20-24/1978.
Art by Monte Dolack, image is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 335 (plate 4.9).
Medium-thin glossy stock poster is in very good (B/B+) condition; there are a set of semi-flattened horizontal/vertical bends (item was folded into 1/4ths) with a 1" vertical split in the top center margin, plus a couple of small corner bends (top left/right corners), a tiny edge tear in the lower right margin, a few stray soft pinch bends/handling dings and a bit of rubbing/wear in the top center margin (around Barry's head), otherwise fine.
GREAT-looking design for a late-'70's San Francisco appearance by the Fish! Gimme an "F"!
