Original 1st printing 10&14 x 8&1/4" concert flyer for the Charlatans appearing at the Matrix in San Francisco, CA from 4/12-17/1966. (*also with Sopwith Camel from 4/14-16, not listed)

 

 Art by Charlatans lead singer George Hunter (photo by Herb Greene), a nearly identical image (from a later engagement*) is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 165 (plate 2.117). (*we have this version listed separately)

 

 Thin flat stock flyer is in good to very good (B to B/B+) condition; there are a pair of hard diagonal bends in the upper/lower right corners (each about 2" long), along with a staple hole/wedge pull in the top center margin, light handling, a few well-hidden surface scuffs and tiny pin-prick spots, a razor-thin horizontal hairline bend traversing the lower part of the image area and a few stray edge dings, otherwise fine.
