Original 1st printing 8&1/2 x 11" concert flyer for Big Brother and the Holding Company (featuring Janis Joplin) appearing at the Matrix in San Francisco, CA from 1/1-6/1966. 

 

 Art by (and SIGNED in pencil by) Stanley Mouse, image is featured in the Art of Rock on page 164 (plate 2.111).

 

 Thin flat stock flyer is in absolutely BEAUTIFUL near mint (A-) condition; there is a VERY soft 1" diagonal bend in the lower right corner, a couple of VERY tiny edge dings and there are a few ultra-light handling bends hiding within the image area/margins, but for the most part it is an unbeatable example.
