Official 1st printing 15 x 22" concert poster for Moby Grape* appearing with West Coast Natural Gas(s) at the (Family) Dog (AKA "Denver Dog") at 1601 West Evans in Denver CO from 5/31-6/1/1968. (*this was likely ex-Grape manager Matthew Katz' "bootleg" Moby Grape, as the real band was in New York City at the time (performing at Fillmore East). Medium-thick flat textured stock poster is in good (B) condition; a couple of thin bends/tape marks in the upper left/right and lower left corners, a small surface stain (about 1&1/2" round) on "Gas Co.", a few thin corner/edge bends, fair amount of surface wear (a series of scuffs, a stray pull or two) and a couple of decent-sized tape pulls/stains on the reverse, otherwise fine. Ultra-uncommon FD-related item, this poster probably represents one of the last gasps of the Denver Dog experiment, long after Chet and crew bailed... a fascinating artifact, to say the least.
