Original 1st printing 8&3/4 x 11&1/4" benefit (*for the Council for Civic Unity) concert flyer, "Abe Lincoln's Birthday", which featured the Grateful Dead appearing with Moby Grape, Sly & the Family Stone, Notes from the Underground and the New Salvation Army Band at the Fillmore Auditorium in San Francisco, CA on 2/11/1967.
Art by Hank Lelo, image is not part of the numbered Bill Graham/Fillmore series (this show falls on the same date as BG 49), but it does appear in the Art of Rock on page 151 (plate 2.73) in the "Fillmore Auditorium Benefits" chapter and is credited to Bill Graham in the top margin.
Thin stock flyer is in near mint to excellent (A-/B+ to B+) condition; there is a trace of toning and a tiny tear in the right margin and a nearly-invisible pinch ding or two hiding within the image area, but overall this is a VERY sharp example.
Neat little original early '67 Fillmore benefit flyer with a fantastic all-Bay Area lineup, highlighted by none other than the Grateful Dead and Sly & the Family Stone appearing on the same bill.
