Original 1st printing (1972 California Graphics Exchange) 14 x 20" concert poster for Captain Beefheart and His Magic Band appearing along with Portable People at Crawford Hall on the campus of the University of California in Irvine, CA on 11/28/1968 (*show canceled/never happened).

 Art by Rick Griffin, image is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 372 (plate 4.125).

 Medium flat vellum stock poster is in near mint (A- to A-/B+) condition; aside from a couple of pieces of brown packing tape on the reverse (top left/right corners, each about 2" long) and a couple of stray edge dings/fingerprint smudges scattered around the image area/margins, it is a VERY sharp example of this perennially popular Griffin image from the early '70's.
