Original 1st printing 6&1/2 x 10&1/2" concert/event handbill for Russian poet Andrei Voznesensky appearing with Lawrence Ferlinghetti (translations) and music by Jefferson Airplane at the Fillmore Auditorium in San Francisco, CA on 4/7/1966.

 

 Art by (and SIGNED in black flair pen by) Bonnie MacLean, image is not officially a numbered piece in the Bill Graham/Fillmore series, but the event falls between the BG 2 and BG 3 shows).

 

 Thin flat stock handbill is in beautiful near mint (A- to A-/B+) condition; there are a few light fingerprint marks and tiny pinch creases scattered here and there, but it is an essentially clean example otherwise.

 

 A SUPERB-looking ARTIST-SIGNED artifact from a transitional period (the tail end of the Beat era and the dawn of the psychedelic scene) in San Francisco.
