Original 1st printing 23 x 35" 1967 silkscreen headshop merchandising poster, "Psychedelic Child", featuring a stylized rendition of Gene Anthony's portrait of the Grateful Dead's enigmatic singer/organist Ron "Pigpen" McKernan. Art by Myers/Johansen (printed by Pandora Productions), medium-thick vellum stock silkscreen poster (printed with extra-bright day-glo ink) is in very good (B/B+) condition; a series of tiny pin holes in each of the four corners and in the top/bottom left/right center margins, a few minor edge dings/nicks and a soft pull or two scattered around the outer margin area, a few well-hidden thin horizontal/vertical stress bends, a few stray light surface smudges, tiny scuffs and a tiny puncture hole or two hiding within the image area, a hint of edge toning, a slight curl to the paper and a few light handling/pinch dings, otherwise fine. REALLY neat-looking 1967 G.D.-related poster with a great design and eye-searing colors. Perfect for the blacklight room!
