Original 1st printing 6&1/8 x 7&1/2" concert/event handbill for the Second Annual Saugatuck Pop Festival, featuring MC5, SRC, Procul Harum (featuring Robin Trower), Muddy Waters, John Lee Hooker, the Amboy Dukes (featuring Ted Nugent), Rotary Connection (featuring Minnie Ripperton), the Crazy World of Arthur Brown, Bob Seger, Frost, the Stooges (featuring Iggy Pop), Big Mama Thornton, Frut of the Loom, Caste, Savage Grace, Red, White & Blues and Brownsville Station, held at Pottawatmie Beach in Saginaw, MI from 7/4-5/1969. Art by Carl Lundgren, image (full color version) is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 303 (3.157), this is the monochrome handbill version. Thin flat stock handbill is in BEAUTIFUL mint/near mint to near mint (A/A- to A-) condition; only the slightest whisper of handling and that's IT... a VERY crisp/sharp example of this oddball Pop Festival item from a semi-obscure Michigan event.
