Original 1st printing 8&1/2 x 11" double-sided event flyer for "Alice's Happy Un-birthday Party", an all-day gathering of hippies ("Be-In"), held at Independence Square in Philadelphia, PA on 5/14/1967.

 Art by Greg Irons (*this was Greg's first-ever psychedelic event design), medium-thin flat vellum stock flyer is in good to very good (B to B/B+) condition; item has been folded into 1/8ths and subsequently flattened (creases are well-hidden on the front by the design, more visible on the reverse), there are a series of tiny staple holes in each of the four corners and in the left/right center margins, a thin horizontal roll crease running along the bottom margin, a couple of tape pulls/residue marks in each of the four corners and in the left/right center margin area, along with a few light handling dings, a tiny 3/4" drag tear in the left center margin and a few tiny edge dings, otherwise fine.

 ULTRA-COOL and VERY EARLY Greg Irons item from the spring of 1967, right before he moved to San Francisco. You can clearly see Greg's future path towards concert poster and comix art by the sophistication of the design on this piece... very advanced.
