Original 1st printing 23&5/8 x 25&1/2" (appx. -top/bottom margins are irregularly hand-trimmed) silkscreen event poster for the 3rd Annual Haight-Ashbury People's Parade, held at Buena Vista Park in San Francisco, CA on 3/20/1966. Designer unknown/not credited, thin fibrous parchment/"onion skin" stock hand-pulled silkscreen poster is in good (B) condition; aside from the aforementioned hand-cut edges, there is a 10" soft diagonal bend and 3 x 1" tape shadow in the upper right corner, a 1/2" tear in the upper left margin, a series of tiny-to-small round age spots/stains, a few thin creases and tiny tear or two along the left/right margins, a series of thin soft bends throughout the image area, hand-written (in black marker) information along the bottom edge of the image area and a few tiny surface scuffs and pin-prick marks here and there, otherwise fine. REALLY cool-looking and VERY EARLY Haight-Ashbury piece, I haven't been able to locate ANY information about this event; pretty interesting that by '66, this was already a two-year-old event!
