Original 1st printing 17&1/2 x 23&1/2 double-sided uncut sheet for a Grunt Records (Jefferson Airplane's independently-run RCA Records boutique label) promotional underground comix book, along with a (circa early 1970's) 17 x 11" uncut album cover proof for an unknown Jefferson Airplane bootleg record, "Up Against The Wall Mother F...". Art by Greg Irons and Kim Veitch (Grunt Comix) and unknown (UATWMF), medium-thin flat index stock sheet and thin flat textured index stock album proof are both in VERY crisp near mint (A-/B+) condition; aside from a tiny tear in the top margin of the Grunt sheet and a couple of VERY well-camouflaged handling dings hiding within the image area(s), they are both in SUPERB shape. REALLY cool/unusual set of J.A.-related pieces, the Irons/Veitch piece tells the cautionary tale of "The Ripped Whips", a Haight-era hippie band that signed with a big-time record label (instead of the way-friendlier to artists Grunt Records label) and promptly went down the tubes in a spectacularly grotesque manner. AWESOME.
