Original 9 x 15&1/2" (double-matted with archival tape to 11&5/8 x 18&5/8" total size) mixed-media (pen/ink with dot-screen overlays and black/white ink highlights) ORIGINAL ART, "The Last Supper Band" (A/K/A "J.C. & the Apostles"), by Rick Griffin.
Rendered on medium-thick sketchbook vellum (and SIGNED in gold ink by Rick), piece is in great condition; just a few scattered pinch dings/light handling creases, a couple of areas of overlay lifting (mostly around the edges of "Nipper" (the famous RCA dog) in the lower right corner), a hint of toning/matte burn around the outer edges, a pencil notation in the lower right margin, a small tape pull in the top center (both are underneath the matte), plus a nearly-invisible sketch (a preliminary of "Nipper") on the reverse, otherwise fine. The pencil notation (30%) is a production note for when the image was photographed (this version was made into a poster sometime in the early 1980's).
