Original 1st printing 8&3/8 x 9" concert flyer for the Sparrow (proto-Steppenwolf) appearing at the Matrix in San Francisco, CA from 4/28-30/1967. 

 

 Artist unknown/not credited (possibly Leidenthal), thin slightly rough vellum stock flyer (this is the pink stock version- we have the yellow stock version listed separately) is in near mint to excellent (A-/B+ to B+) condition; just a few soft handling dings scattered around the image/margin area and a soft diagonal bend in the lower left margin, otherwise fine.

 

 Nifty little early-'67 Matrix flyer with an amusing design... looks kind of like a hippie dodo bird.
