Original 1st printing 11 x 17" concert poster for a "High Baroque Benefit Ball for the Busted", featuring Big Brother & the Holding Company (featuring Janis Joplin), appearing with Quicksilver Messenger Service, Blue Cheer, Oxford Circle, Loyal Disposition, Andrew Staples, the New Breed and the Great Northern California Land Slide Dancers at Freeborn Hall on the Campus of the University of California in Davis on 3/6/1967.
Art by Jim Carrico/Sparrow Studios, thin flat index stock poster is in good to very good (B to B/B+) condition; there is a 3/4" square chunk out of the top left corner tip, tack holes in each of the other three corners and in the top/bottom center margins, a series of ultra-light corner/edge bends, tiny soft handling dings and stress bends scattered around the image area, otherwise fine.
MEGA-uncommon low-run regional Big Brother/Quicksilver concert poster with an absolutely KILLER design. First one of these I have ever seen.
