Original 1st printing (OP-2, this is the local ticket outlet version with the overprinted "Grateful Dead" lettering and ticket outlet strip along the bottom border) 13&7/8 x 19&7/8" concert poster for the Grateful Dead appearing with Mother Earth at the Family Dog at 1601 West Evans in Denver, CO from 9/22-23/1967. Art by Dennis Nolan (*"Grateful Dead" lettering by John Chick), image is # 82/D-2 in the Family Dog/Denver series. Medium flat index stock poster is in good/decent (B/B- to B-) condition; a set of tack/pin holes (all four corners and a pair in the center of the ticket outlet area), a series of hard/pronounced horizontal bends traversing the image area, along with a series of vertical stress bends, numerous stray handling creases, edge creases/wear, a 3/4" tear in the bottom border, a bit of subtle toning and other assorted minor issues, but for the most part it is a pretty decent-looking example of the INCREDIBLY difficult-to-find locally-distributed version of the FD D-2 poster. This version almost NEVER turns up... this example apparently was originally displayed in downtown Boulder. VERY scarce 1967 Dead poster from the band's first-ever visit to the Mile-High state.
