Original 1st printing 3&3/4 x 7" stamped-reverse concert handbill for the Grateful Dead appearing at the Fountain Street Church in Grand Rapids, MI on 3/24/1968 (*show canceled due to a snowstorm). Art by Jim Carrico, image is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 302 (plate 3.151). Thin flat index stock handbill is in STUNNING mint/near mint (A/A- to A-) condition; an absolutely GORGEOUS clean example of the legendary "Pigpen with wings" image from the AOR with an unusual twist... this one has a rubber-stamped logo (in black ink) for "W.I.T. Productions", along with a typed (in red ink) address for someone who I am assuming is/was a representative for the production company; it appears as though this handbill was apparently re-purposed as a business card. WEIRD!!!
