Original 1st printing 3&3/4 x 7" concert handbill for the Grateful Dead appearing with Quicksilver Messenger Service and Big Brother & the Holding Company (with Janis Joplin) at Winterland in San Francisco, CA on 10/31/1967.

 Art by Alton Kelley, Stanley Mouse and Rick Griffin, image ("Trip or Freak") is featured in the Art of Rock on page 185 (plate 2.183). 

 Medium-thin flat index stock handbill is in near mint to excellent (A-/B+ to B+) condition; aside from a couple of VERY well-camouflaged handling dings and a tiny thin stress bend or two hiding within the image area, this is a flat-out GORGEOUS-looking original "Trip or Freak" handbill.

 Looks pretty minty from the front, you really have to look hard to see the conditional issues on this one. VERY nice example.
