Original 1st printing 8&1/2 x 11" benefit (*for the Matrix) concert/event flyer for Big Brother & the Holding Company (featuring Janis Joplin) appearing with the Steve Miller Band, Santana, Sandy Bull and Dan Hicks (and His Hot Licks) at the Fillmore Auditorium in San Francisco, CA on 6/16/1968.

 

 Artist unknown (the main body of the flyer looks a LOT like an Aubrey Beardsley image), image is not part of the numbered Bill Graham/Fillmore series, although this show falls between BG 124 and BG 125.

 

 Medium-thick index stock flyer is in excellent to near mint (B+ to A-/B+) condition; there are a trio of soft ring-binder indentations along the left margin and one or two soft dings here and there, but overall it is a nice crisp example- no holes, tears or stains or other major issues.

 

 VERY SCARCE Fillmore benefit flyer from 1968 with an all-star SF lineup and a sweet design.
