Original 1st printing 14 x 24&5/8" concert poster for Jefferson Airplane appearing with the Grateful Dead and Quicksilver Messenger Service at the Fillmore Auditorium in San Francisco, CA on New Year's Eve, 12/31/1966.
Art by Wes Wilson, image is # 37 in the Bill Graham/Fillmore series (OP-1 in the Eric King guide), this particular version is on the lighter end of the color spectrum- almost a solid "brick red" border on this example.
Medium flat vellum stock poster is in good/decent (B to B/B-) condition; a tiny 5/8 x 1/4" nip out of the top left margin/corner tip, a 2&1/4" diagonal bend and 3/4" tear and 1&1/2" thin crack in the upper left margin/edge, a thin diagonal bend and 1&3/4" vertical tear in the top center margin (just above the "r" of "Year"), staple holes in all four corners, a 1" vertical tear in the bottom center margin, a few stray edge nips and dings, a tiny bit of glue residue in the lower right corner (and a large amount in each of the four corners on the reverse side), plus a few light handling bends hiding within the image area, otherwise fine.
An overall very decent-looking 1st-printing example of this late-'66 Fillmore classic.
