Original 1st printing 13&7/8 x 10&7/8" silkscreen cardboard concert poster for the Grateful Dead appearing (*with the Roadrunners and Raik's Progress- not listed) at the Marigold Ballroom in Fresno, CA on 5/12/1967. Designer unknown ("JH"?), extra-thick hand-pulled silkscreen (printed on semi-thick smooth cardboard stock) poster is in very good to excellent (B/B+ to B+) condition; the poster is lightly toned, with the exception of an approximately 1 x 9&1/2" strip along the left margin, plus a small 1/2" pull in the bottom right margin/edge (just beneath the "d" of "Marigold"), a series of light surface scratches and tiny scuffs (a tiny white mark on the "a" of "Grateful"), a very subtle warp to the board and a couple of nearly-invisible tape marks on the reverse, otherwise fine. MEGA-COOL mid-'67 recently-discovered GD concert poster from the band's first performances in Fresno, presented by local teen-scene promoters "Rocky's Mag". We also have both versions of the flyer from this show listed separately.
