Original 1st printing 11&1/8 x 17&1/4" double-sided concert poster for the Grateful Dead appearing with Albert Collins and Ballet Afro-Haiti from 8/1-3/1969 with a small notice on the reverse for the following week's concert (Country Joe & the Fish with Tyrannosaurus Rex (AKA T.Rex, featuring Marc Bolan) Tongue & Groove, Steve Fisher, Kevin and Goshen Mustang Light Co. from 8/8-10/1969), all shows held at the Family Dog on the Great Highway in San Francisco, CA. Designer unknown, image is an un-numbered image from the Family Dog/Great Highway series (FD-690801 in Eric King's guide). Medium-thin flat index stock poster is in good (B) condition; a pair of brown tape residue marks along the top/bottom margin area, a tiny edge tear in the lower right margin, a couple of tiny surface marks/soft pin-prick stains, a nearly invisible puncture hole and small stain in the top center and a few stray light handling dings, otherwise fine. INTENSE-looking mid-'69 Dead poster from just a few weeks before the band's appearance at Woodstock.
