Original 1st printing 14&1/4 x 20" concert poster for Quicksilver Messenger Service appearing with the Steve Miller (Blues) Band and the Daily Flash at the Avalon Ballroom in San Francisco, CA from 3/10-11/1967.

 

 Art by Victor Moscoso, image ("Peacock Ball") is # 51 in the Family Dog/Avalon series.

 

 Medium flat index stock poster is in in good (B) condition; all four corners have tack/pin holes and approximately 1 x 1&1/2" triangles of clear tape covering the corners, there is a soft surface stain on the "Q" of "Quicksilver", a couple of stray pinch bends around the outer margin area, a few tiny surface dings, an ultra-thin soft diagonal bend hiding within the image area (just above "Avalon"), a tiny 1/4" tear in the top left margin, tape marks, light pencil scratch ("1st Edition") and a set of pulls on the reverse, otherwise fine.

 

 Overall, a very nice-looking 1st printing example of this perennial Moscoso favorite.
