Original 1st printing 15&3/8 x 22&7/8" concert poster for the Quaker City Rock Festival, a one-day show held at the Spectrum in Philadelphia, PA on 10/23/1970. Performers listed include: Grand Funk Railroad, Rod Stewart and the (Small) Faces, Eric Burdon & War and Elizabeth. Art by Spencer Zahn, medium-thick glossy-coated index stock poster is in good/decent (B to B/B-) condition; a pair of tiny triangular wedge tears in the top/bottom center margins (each about 1/4-1/2", a set of tack/pin holes (all four corners/top/bottom/right center margins), a fair amount of wear/creasing in the top left/right corners, a series of semi-pronounced thin stress bends scattered around the edges/corners, a hint of toning and a series of large tape pulls on the reverse, otherwise fine. This example was pretty obviously pulled down from public display at the time of the show. ULTRA-scarce ORIGINAL 1st-edition 1970 version of this poster (it was reprinted by Electric Factory promoter Larry Magid in the 1990's), the colors are much more vibrant on the original.
