Original 1st printing 11 x 17" schedule/marquee-style concert poster for the Summer (8/7-28) 1977series of concerts held at the Music Inn (formerly Lenox Arts Center) in Lenox, MA.
Shows listed include: Climax Blues Band with Commander Cody (8/7), Arlo Guthrie (8/13), Bonnie Raitt with John Lee Hooker (8/20), Bob Marley & the Wailers (8/21 *canceled/rescheduled, read more below) and the New Riders (of the Purple Sage) with David Bromberg (8/28).
Designer unknown/not credited, medium-thick flat index stock poster is in good to very good (B to B/B+) condition; a set of staple hole/wedge pulls in the top/bottom center margins, a series of semi-pronounced horizontal bends along the lower left margin (each about 3-4"), a series of handling dings, an area of crinkling/creasing in the top center margin, a 7" hairline diagonal bend in the upper left corner and a set of tape pulls on the reverse, otherwise fine.
Really cool little early-'70's multi-act poster from a fairly small out-of-the way venue in Massachusetts. Apparently Bob and the Wailers had to back out of this performance, but they rescheduled for the following summer (1978)- read more about that show (and an explanation of the '77 cancellation) HERE;
