Original 1st printing 23&1/8 x 34&3/8" concert poster for the Who performing their rock opera "Tommy" at the Fillmore East in New York, NY from 10/20-25/1969.

 Art by David Edward Byrd, image is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 158 (plate 2.94) and is image # 10 in the Bill Graham/Fillmore East series.

 Medium-thin glossy stock poster is in fantastic near mint (A- to A-/B+) condition; a small 3/4" crescent-shaped ding/push bend in the lower right margin, a series of light handling dings throughout the image area, a stray edge/corner ding or two and a tiny bit of archival tape residue in the reverse top margin, otherwise fine.

 An absolutely GORGEOUS example of this oft-requested Who poster from the fondly-remembered Fall 1969 "Tommy" shows at the Fillmore East.
