Original 1st printing (blue background, no "W") 14&1/8 x 21" concert poster for Jefferson Airplane and the Grateful Dead appearing with Mongo Santamaria at Winterland from 5/2-3/1969 and Mongo Santamaria headlining over Cold Blood and the Elvin Bishop Group at the Fillmore West (all in San Francisco, CA) on 5/1 & 5/4/1969.

 Medium glossy-coated index stock poster is in very good (B/B+) condition; a series of tiny soft pin-prick age spots scattered around the top margin area (most heavily concentrated in the top right corner/quadrant, along with a pair of thin diagonal bends and a soft moisture stain in the lower right margin/edge, a series of thin horizontal creases/bends in the ticket outlet strip, a couple of stray pinch dings/fingerprints/tiny stress creases hiding within the image area, but most of the issues are fairly well-hidden on this example.

 

 Overall, a very nice-looking ARTIST-SIGNED 1st printing example of this classic '69 JA/GD image.
