 ITEM DESCRIPTION

Original 1st printing 28&7/8 x 22&7/8" concert poster for Grand Funk railroad appearing with Eli Radish "& Other Goodies" at the Ludlow Garage in Cincinnati, OH from 9/19-20/1969. (*these were the first shows held at the venue)

Design by Sontag, Bottoni and Levy, medium flat index stock poster is in good/decent (B to B/B-) condition; a set of hard/pronounced horizontal/vertical bends (item was folded into 1/4ths) with a couple of tiny splits in the edges and a tiny hole at the intersection of the folds, tack holes/tape remnants in all four corners and in the top/bottom center margins, light toning, a few stray tiny edge tears, a couple of stray surface smudges and a series of light stains running along the top left margin and a few semi-camouflaged thin horizontal stress bends traversing the image area, otherwise fine.

Conditional issues aside, this is a REALLY impressive-looking EXTREMELY low-run "oddball" poster from the grand opening of Cincinnati's very own version of the Fillmore. Read more about the Garage and its very colorful founder, Jim Tarbell HERE:
