Original 1st printing 18&1/4 x 14&3/8" concert poster for Jefferson Airplane appearing at the Men's Gymnasium on the campus of California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, CA on 5/19/1967. Art (uncredited) by Don Pimental, the image is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 265 (plate 3.36). Medium-thick flat vellum stock poster is in good (B to B/B-) condition; a set of tack/pin holes in all four corners with a tiny wedge nip in the top left corner and about 1/4-1/2" of paper missing from the bottom left corner tip, a pair of soft diagonal bends in the lower right corner/right margin, a series of semi-camouflaged (some more than others) bends/creases scattered around the image area/margins, a few tiny pin-prick surface stains, numerous tiny handling dings/stress bends, a fairly decent-sized tape pull on the reverse and a hint of toning, otherwise fine. A very decent-looking example of this oft-requested 1967 Jefferson Airplane poster from a small college show.
