 ITEM DESCRIPTION

Original 1st (Big O Posters Ltd. 1967) printing 19&3/8 x 29" art/merchandise poster, "Blowin' in the Mind" (or "Mister Tambourine Man"), featuring a psychedelically-enhanced portrait of the one and only Bob Dylan by legendary Australian artist Martin Sharp (image was originally commissioned in 1967 for UK underground magazine, "OZ" (issue #7).

Thick foil-coated glossy stock poster is in BEAUTIFUL near mint to excellent (A-/B+) condition; there's a series of ultra-tiny thin recess pulls (tiny white "chips") around the edges, a thin diagonal bend (about 4") in the top left edge/margin (right on the very edge of the paper, not more than 1/8" into the image area), a couple of tiny corner bends/bumps, a whisper of surface wear, a tiny piece of archival tape on the reverse and a very well-hidden 1" bend in the bottom right corner/edge, otherwise it is an absolutely GORGEOUS example of one of the trippiest Dylan images ever committed to paper.

An unquestioned MASTERPIECE of 1960's psychedelic art, the Victoria and Albert Museum in London has one of these posters in their permanent design collection.
