Pair of original 1st printing (both appx. 14 x 22", one cardboard, one thick paper) concert posters for a pair of Summer 1971 shows called "Phaedra", held at a pair of undisclosed locations near Geneseo, NY on 7/10 and 8/7/1971.
Designer unknown/not credited (concerts sponsored by a promotional team called Music Media Associates) shows featured local upstate NY bands North, Rain, Skull, Joshua, Monolith and Common Bond (7/10) and Orange, Music Union, Crackers, Black Sheep, Tannis, North, Me & Him, Tim Bradey and Kitty Hawk (8/7).
The 7/10 poster is printed on extra-thick cardboard stock and is in very good (B/B+) condition; there's a small soft stain (about 2") between the "h" of "Phaedra" and "Concert", along with a few small bends hiding within the image area and around the edges, a bit of moisture wear/warping in the upper right quadrant, a large marker drawing on the reverse ("CONCERT" in large red letters) and a few tiny pin-prick surface stains and tiny scratches, but is otherwise fine.
The 8/7 poster is in excellent to near mint (B+ to B+/A-), just a couple of minor surface marks, a tiny edge/corner bump or two and a hint of moisture warping, but is overall pretty sharp.
GREAT-looking pair of early-'70's low-run regional concert posters from upstate New York.
