Original 1st printing 9 x 12" 16-page concert program for Jefferson Airplane appearing with the Grateful Dead at the Hollywood Bowl in Hollywood, CA on 9/15/1967 (*Big Brother and the Holding Company with Janis Joplin are also listed, but apparently did not appear at this show).

 

 Art by Jim Blashfield with a photo by Herb Greene (front cover), program corresponds with image # 81 in the Bill Graham/Fillmore series.

 

 Medium-thick flat vellum stock program is in superb near mint (A-) condition; just the slightest amount of surface/edge wear and a touch of handling, otherwise fine.

 

 Very cool artifact from an early out-of-town Bill Graham production featuring full page individual portraits of each J.A. member, along with a brief B.G. bio and a couple of articles about the San Francisco scene.
