Original 1st printing (1st Edition of 1200) 22&1/4 x 27&7/8" event poster for the 7/17/1967 opening of the Joint Show at the Moore Gallery in San Francisco, CA featuring music by Country Joe & the Fish and exhibited art by Rick Griffin (who did this version of the poster), Wes Wilson, Victor Moscoso, Stanley Mouse, Alton Kelley and more. Art by the aforementioned Rick Griffin, image is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 234 (plate 2.347). Medium-thick semi-gloss coated index stock poster is in good (B to B/B-) condition; a set of tack/nail holes (all four corners), a moderate amount of moisture rippling in the upper right quadrant of the image area and along the bottom margin, a thin drip stain that pools into a small dot/stain in the bottom left margin (right underneath "Wilson") and another just to the left of the "J" in "Joint", a series of light handling/edge dings, a few tiny stray surface scuffs here and there, a thin soft diagonal bend in the left margin and tape stains/residue on the reverse, otherwise fine. Not perfect, but a nice presentable charmingly used example of the 1st Edition version of the R.G. Joint Show.
