Original 1st printing 22 x 28" event poster for the 7/17/1967 opening of the Joint Show, held at the Moore Gallery in San Francisco, CA and featuring music by Country Joe & the Fish and exhibited art by Alton Kelley (who did this version of the poster), Rick Griffin, Victor Moscoso, Wes Wilson, Stanley Mouse and more.
Art by the aforementioned Alton Kelley (with a Gene Anthony portrait of the Grateful Dead's Ron "Pigpen" McKernan), image is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 235 (plate 2.350). This is from the First Edition of 1200.
Medium-thick glossy-coated index stock poster is in excellent (B+) condition; just a couple of light fingerprints/pinch dings/tiny scuffs scattered around the image area, a soft 2" diagonal roll bend and a touch of moisture rippling along the bottom right corner and a stray surface/edge ding or two, otherwise fine
