Original 1st printing 13&7/8 x 21&7/8" concert poster for the Grateful Dead appearing with the Junior Wells Chicago Blues Band and the Doors at the Fillmore Auditorium in San Francisco, CA on 1/23-25/1967. 

 

 Art by (and SIGNED in pencil by) Wes Wilson, image is # 45 in the Bill Graham/Fillmore series (OP-2 in the Eric King guide (non-florescent/dull stock). 

 

 Medium flat vellum stock poster is in very good to excellent (B/B+ to B+) condition; there's a small 1&1/4" u-shaped tear going from the "s" of "Wells" into the "Bl" of "Blues" and a tiny press indentation in the "C" of "Chicago" and an ultra-tiny edge/corner bump or two, otherwise fine. 

 

 An overall superb-looking SIGNED example of one of Wes Wilson's early '67 masterpieces.
