Original 1st printing 8&1/4 x 7" concert handbill for delta blues legend (Mississippi) Fred McDowell appearing with Texas Rangers at the Vulcan Gas Company in Austin, TX from 4/18-19/1969. 

 Artist unknown (looks a little like John Shelton's work), image ("Fred McDowell") is an un-numbered part of the VG/Vulcan Gas Company series (VGC-1969-04/1-19).

 Thin flat stock flyer is in fantastic mint/near mint (A/A- to A-) condition; aside from a tiny bump in the bottom left corner tip, it is an absolutely perfectly-preserved example of this oddball late period Vulcan Gas handbill featuring a headlining appearance by one of the south's foremost practitioners of authentic country blues.
