Original 1st printing (OP-1, this version printed before the August 8th addition of Tiny Tim and Miles Davis to the bill) 19&7/8 x 29&7/8" concert/event poster for the third Isle of Wight Festival, held on the Isle of Wight off the coast of Southern England from 8/28-30/1970. 

 Poster lists appearances by Richie Havens, Pentangle, The Who, the Moody Blues, the Jimi Hendrix Experience, Family, Free, the Doors, Chicago, Leonard Cohen, Joni Mitchell, James Taylor, Donovan, Good News, Ralph McTell, Jethro Tull, Taste (with Rory Gallagher), Melanie, Arrival, Lighthouse, Sly & the Family Stone, Joan Baez, Voices of East Harlem, Emerson Lake & Palmer, Mungo Jerry, Spirit and more.

 Design by Dave Roe, medium-thin flat index "fly-posting" (rough/tacky reverse) stock poster is in very good (B/B+) condition; a series of tiny scattered stress/handling creases, a minor amount of corner/edge wear and a few light surface dings, otherwise fine.
